Got my hair done today and afterwards my aunt(who does my hair) showed me this little thing called the color bug. Kind of amazing. It has a chalk-like consistency and stays in until your next shampoo! Do as much or as little as you'd like and it looks amazing.

Greenbluff

Went to Greenbluff with my family on Sunday - and a perfect day it was! Greenbluff is like a big farm with apple orchards, pumpkin patches, and an abandoned bus of course! What a great day for a photoshoot. Aside from eating more apples than I picked, we found an abandoned school bus in which my aunt took photos of me and my two cousins (since she is a photographer) and boy was it a blast. I love Oktoberfest and being able to spend it with my family every year and enjoy their company in the beautiful fall weather :) I'm just hoping the sunshine will last a few more weeks - so not ready for winter! Finished the day off with home made lasagna made by my mother and old 90's tv shows #90sareallthat. Happy Monday!

Oh, the weather outside is weather.

Fall has got to be my favorite time of year. And not just because of the caramel apple ciders or the leaves changing colors and falling. My favorite part of fall is the fashion. And living in a smaller town, it's hard to be bold without looking ridiculous. So I keep it simple. It's comfortable, yet warm and still classic. I will pair leggings with boots, and a sweater with a scarf. It's simple, yet tasteful; quick and easy. And if you do plan to do one of these outfits, keep the jewelry simple! Too much jewelry makes the outfit look too busy and messy. Remember: Simplicity.

Rainy Afternoons...

Well since it's been raining for about a week straight and i'm coming down with a cold, what better way to spend an afternoon than a workout folowed by a little baking? Today I made Heath toffee bit cookies. Usually I don't eat my own baking because I always criticize myself too much, but I had a sweet tooth and had to try them. Surprisingly, they turned out delicious, despite the fact that I could barely taste them because of my cold.. Happy Tuesday!

Lately i've been extremely obsessed with instagram. Those of you who don't have it or don't know what it is, it's an app on the iPhone that you must get it! Now, im no photographer, but I think everyone that has instagram would say that it brings out their inner amateur photographer. It's a way for you to see other people's pictures from all across the country and around the world and a way to promote a blog or website for those who are more seriously into photography.
